In short: Amazing food and great service. The staff was friendly and food came out fast on a Saturday morning around brunch. I would definitely come back here again! Short rib benedict - 9.2/10 - The short rib mixed perfectly with the eggs, hollandaise, and the other ingredients. Eggs were poached perfectly and this is one of the best Eggs Benedicts I've had in recent memory. Buttermilk pancakes - 9.5/10 - Probably about as good of pancakes you can get anywhere in the Twin Cities. Light, fluffy, and with a small crisp. This takes the cake as one of the best breakfast cakes I've had in a while.

Nice place. Reservation needed at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Atmosphere is more on the upscale side. Quality menu, good options. I went with the poke bowl and it was more of a salad with rice. Flavor was good, but missing some key ingredients to feel like it was authentic, so I suppose it was a Minnesota take on a Hawaiian dish? My friend got the potpie which was killer. Service was good, nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about. Prices were just right. With trying again to sample the menu

Went to this restaraunt by suggestion from a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was EXCELLENT. The service was great. Our server was great at upsells but everything she suggested to us were great suggestions and we went with most of them. I had butternut squash ravioli as my main and man it was like the best ravioli I've ever had. My boyfriend had the rotisserie chicken sandwich and that was even better! We also had the burrata appetizer and that was delicious! Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend! One thing I will say is make a reservation. This place was very busy!

Hazelwood was a solid “bistro” type restaurant with a great atmosphere, good food with a broad menu and yummy soup that was perfect to warm you up on a cold day. Service was solid throughout the meal with quick refills and they did a really good job handling our large party.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hazelwood Food and Drink – Minnesota The food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Hazelwood Food and Drink if you’re in Minnesota! I stopped at Hazelwood Food and Drink in Minnesota while traveling, and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I wasn’t expecting much since it was just a random stop on the road, but the food completely blew me away. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell the chefs here really know what they’re doing. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was right without hovering or being pushy. They really made me feel welcome even though I was just passing through. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a huge difference. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable yet classy. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a nice meal whether you’re with friends and family. Even though I probably won’t be back anytime soon since it’s in a whole different state, I’m honestly glad I stopped there. It’s one of those spots that reminds you good food and good people still exist out there. If you’re ever near the area, definitely make the time to visit Hazelwood Food and Drink — it’s absolutely worth it. P.s I got the bri burger and iceberge wedge salad with steak And malbec wine.

Hazelwood truly exceeded my expectations! I had the salmon with avocado, salsa, and coconut rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked crispy outside, moist and tender inside while the avocado and salsa brought so much freshness. The coconut rice tied everything together beautifully. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. My servers were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience feel special without being overbearing. They checked in at the right moments, made great recommendations, and added to the welcoming atmosphere. Between the incredible food, thoughtful presentation, and amazing service, Hazelwood is a spot I’ll gladly return to again and again. My empty plate said it all!

The French Onion Soup arrived first — a bubbling, cheesy top over a rich, savory broth that could warm even a traveler from the colder systems. Comforting, well-balanced, and a great start to the meal. The rotisserie chicken followed, and the Force was strong with this plate. Tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, paired nicely with mashed potatoes and asparagus. A simple dish done with real care. The Blueberry Ginger Refresher added a bright, crisp lift to everything — a refreshing burst with a gentle ginger kick. Service was excellent throughout. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and offered thoughtful menu suggestions that truly enhanced the experience. A fantastic meal from beginning to end. Added to my holocron of favorites, it has been — and return, I will.
